Overall Aim
- To aid delegate understanding of culturagram and its significances.
- To articulate their own definition and understanding of cultural competence.
- To understand how to assess, Intervene and plan from a culturally competent viewpoint, particularly when assessing Black African families.
Delegates will explore the model of the two houses, the impact of connection or disconnection between the two houses. One would also explore the history and theoretical bases of the programme.
Learning Outcomes
Contextualising: (i) Understanding of culturagram and the model of the two houses; (ii)Theoretical bases of the session.
