Undertaking Section 47 Enquiries is a training course offered through our partnership with London East Connexions Partnership (LECP). Hosted by the Victoria Climbié Foundation UK, the session aims to identify cultural issues affecting Section 47 enquiries for BME children, and to provide social workers with the opportunity to reflect on their current practice in relation to child protection and to develop their skills in conducting Section 47 enquiries. The course is underpinned by the relevant legislation, equality and diversity principles, and the national and local safeguarding agenda.
