The Way Forward Legacy Programme

In delivering ‘The Way Forward’, a series of collaborative events aimed at bridging the gap between our communities and all children’s services; health, education and children’s social care, VCF seeks to ensure that those who commission, as well as those who provide, services strive toward providing a safer future for all children, with a child protection framework that fully supports professionals to carry out the work that they have been entrusted to do, to truly learn the lessons of the past, and to work together for a better future where everyone really can help to safeguard and protect the rights of our children.

During the course of 2010, VCF organised and/or participated in the following events:

Final memorial to Victoria Adjo Climbié
Our final memorial to mark the 10th anniversary of her death in 2000.  Had she lived, Victoria would be 18 >> 25 Feb: Victoria Climbié Memorial Event
