Enhancing the safeguarding of BME Children, Young People and Families – a coherent programme of services that cuts across issues of child protection and complements statutory work to ensure that the voice of the voiceless is heard at strategic level.

This core work is partially funded by Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) – a national programme to fund work by the third sector to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. The outcomes expected from this funded work are embedded in the Children Act 2004, the Every Child Matters outcomes and the Children’s Plan.
