The London Safeguarding Children Board supported 11 London boroughs to deliver pilot projects aimed at improving the lives of BME children, young people and families across London.
Key project outputs:
- LSCB Guidance in relation to families across different cultures or faiths (to accompany London Child Protection Procedures)
- LSCB Model Engagement Strategy to assist minority ethnic communities and faith groups
- LSCB Training Toolkit to identify children across cultures and faiths in need of support or protection

VCF delivers pilot project in Brent
The Pan-London Culture and Faith project sponsored by London Councils funded a community partnership initiative between The Victoria Climbié Foundation and the Brent Local Safeguarding Children Board to engage community groups to address issues of safeguarding children across culture and faith.
