Save a Thought for the Children

VCF offers a coherent programme of services that cuts across issues of child protection and complements statutory work to ensure that the voice of the voiceless is heard at strategic level.

This work is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) for a period of two years.

VCF will continue to provide advocacy support and outreach services to the community, and advise on aspects of culture and faith to safeguarding professionals with the following key aims and objectives:

• To improve front-line practice in child protection and safeguarding and increase innovation in child protection services and support for children who are subject to, or at risk of, abuse or neglect
• To improve learning and support within and across child protection services
• To develop improved multi-agency approaches to child protection.

VCF is a member of the Child Protection and Safeguarding Network chaired by Children England
