Keeping Children Safe: Child Protection in the Community – a project designed to engage community groups and their service users in open dialogue and debate around cultural/religious context within the legal framework of this country.  Having an established link with the local community, VCF is well placed to bring community and faith groups closer to where they need to be in terms of their practical understanding of the child protection guidelines and good practice as set by the local authority.

With the help of Ealing Council, as part of their Health and Social Care programme, VCF is making significant progress with local community and faith groups in raising the awareness of child protection guidelines and responsibilities.

VCF is a member of the ESCB Faith and Diverse Communities sub-group.
