This conference sought to examine the myths, realities and practicalities of working with BME children and their families and those from other cultural backgrounds. It also provided an opportunity to share best practice in engaging with and safeguarding young people, as well as exploring the issues that professionals face when working with families and young people from different cultures.

VCF partnered with Akamas Care and Education to deliver this conference on 24th February 2011.
